5. Fundraising part 2

Fundraising part 2

Hi!

Since my last blog post, my dad and I have been making paracord bracelets. We asked my rugby club if we could sell them  there and they said yes! The man at the stall even said he would sell them for us. This worked out great. It was made apparent that I needed to make a poster to show what I was raising money for and the pricing details. Here it is:

We made all the money back that we spent on the paracord and now can make a profit. While I was on the Easter Holliday break I went to Scotland with my family. Due to the long journey, I made bracelets in the car. While we were up there I had a huge surprise, a very generous donation from a friend of the family. I am very grateful for this and thank you for supporting my dream. On the way back down from Scotland I finished of the bracelets so they were all ready to be sold at Rugby.

Yesterday it was rugby training and my dad kindly went around to the age groups and sold them for me, thanks dad! We are starting to raise money, however I need to think of new ways too.

We also setup a brand new bank account to keep all the money that we raise from the fundraising separate. This will mean there wont be any unnecessary hassle in having to transfer money from different accounts.

The other day we went to the Cudham Shaws open day of the brand new campsite. This will be really cool, especially how close it is. I am sure we will be using it soon. While we were there I inquired about the bracelets I made and asked if it were possible to sell some at the gift shop that was soon to be there. They said yes and said that i could make some in the district colours and sell them. This was amazing to hear and cant wait to make some more for the district.

We made a GoFundMe where people can now donate, so if you can it would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
