14. Honeydale Farm Boot Fayre
Honeydale Farm Boot Fayre
Hi !
Today we woke up at 5am to go to the Honey dale farm boot fayre. My grandparents and dad also came to help which was very kind. We had a lot of donations from family and friends to sell at the boot fayre. This also gave us an opportunity to get rid of some old things that someone else could get use out of.
We both filled up the cars with the stuff the night before. We then went in to the field before paying the £10 entrance fee. We quickly setup all the stuff and made it look all presentable before a huge wave of people entered the field. We had a brilliant spot as we were right Infront of the gate meaning that everyone spotted us as they came in.
We sold around half of the stuff which was amazing! My Dad called up Honeydale farm the day before to see if we could get a discount on the entrance fee so we could make as much profit as possible. The owner of the boot fayre turned up ad he said that we could have the stall half price which was brilliant.
At the end of boot fayre around 11:00am we packed up and went home. At the end of it we made £185 which was amazing. We were amazed at how much we made.
A big thanks to Honeydale farm and the people who donated and helped me.
