36. Brands Hatch Racing event

Brands Hatch Racing event

Hi !

Mr Clark and Stopwatch Hospitality made the event possible. Without them the event wouldn't have been a success and your generosity is truly appreciated.

Go and check them out here : https://www.stopwatchhospitality.com/

Today, with 37 days until I embark on my amazing journey to South Korea we arrived at brands hatch at around 8:30 am and met Mr Clark at the hospitality suite. We had advertised the tickets and everyone was suppose to arrive at 9:00. We put pictures up and I had prepared a photo slide of my jamboree experience so far to show the sort of things I have been up to in preparation for the Jamboree. Everything was sorted.

The racing was just to go ! I loved it soooo much.... The NASCARS were my favourite and I thought they looked really cool. The sound of all the races was unbelievable. All the people that came said how good it was and how much they enjoyed it.

Later on we were given the opportunity to go onto the racetrack and go up close to the cars and meet the drivers etc. This had to be my favourite part of the day as we really got to see what the track was like and what the cars looked like up close.

In addition to this, a while after we had the opportunity to go and see the pits where all the cars are held and repairs etc are done on them. We had the opportunity to meet Matt Ellis. This was super cool as we met an actual driver who went zooming around the track only a few minutes before speaking to him.

After watching a few more races my family decided to go and have a look around and have a go on the rides and other bits. After having a scrumptious ice cream we went back to the suite said goodbye to the people and said a huge thank you to Mr Clark. We packed up then left.

Overall it was an amazing day and all the participants enjoyed it very much. I would love to go to other events in the future and see more cars.

Thank you very much to everyone that came and supported me
