41. Farewell event

 Farewell event 

Hi !

Today was the last day the unit was together until departure day. We attended a unit barbecue with the whole unit and our families to celebrate our journey so far and to look forward to the future. 

We arrived at around 10 am and went over some rules and expectations for the jamboree. We then had some food and talked to one another. I brought along a red mini frisbee which everyone enjoyed playing with for a while.

At 12:30 we were called to get our jamboree shirts which had the badges sown on and our new pristine scarves. We put these on and had our photos taken in the exact same positioning as we did on our very first unit meet almost 2 years ago. The photos looked really good with all our smart uniforms on. 

I can’t wait to attend the jamboree in just 2 days now. I’ll add regular updates and may upload some blogs while I’m out there ( if I have the time ). If not I’ll write everything up when I get back.
